Life Waxahachie is 7-2 against Godley since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Life Waxahachie Mustangs will welcome the Godley Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Life Waxahachie sitting on 19 straight wins and Godley on four.

Life Waxahachie's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over Alvarado. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 matches by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, while the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was Godley who was credited with the victory on Friday. Godley got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to Venus' one. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 117th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 241st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lexi Tyler and Stephanie Favela scored both of Godley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Life Waxahachie pushed their record up to 19-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five games. As for Godley, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.

Life Waxahachie beat Godley 3-1 in their previous matchup on February 7th. Will Life Waxahachie repeat their success, or does Godley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
