Volleyball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

Perry and Hudson squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Perry had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Explorers. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Explorers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Perry took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-21, 25-23.

Hudson found their leader in sophomore Lani Slater, who had 19 digs and two aces.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Hudson, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-10.

Perry does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hudson, after both having extra time off, they and Magnificat will shake off the rust and duke it out at 8:00 p.m. on the 30th.
