Football Recap: Center Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 36-0 loss at the hands of the Ellicott Thunderhawks. The Vikings were not able to make up for their defeat to the Thunderhawks from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Center's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Ellicott, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Center will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Monte Vista at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. The Pirates' defense has only allowed 13.8 points per game this season, so the Vikings' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Ellicott, they will challenge Cedaredge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
