Baseball Recap: Memphis Home Education Association's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tennessee Heat, Memphis Home Education Association was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the LKY Saints by a score of 9-1 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The victory was some much needed relief for Memphis Home Education Association as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Easton Eskridge was excellent, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and one double. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Payson Suggs also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

Memphis Home Education Association always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .519. They are 5-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

The win got Memphis Home Education Association back to even at 9-9-1. As for LKY, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-7.

Memphis Home Education Association didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-0 loss against Munford on the 17th. As for LKY, they have also already played their next matchup, an 11-7 victory against Assumption Academy on the 15th.
