West Morgan wins going away against Corner

Recap: West Morgan Rebels vs. Corner Yellow Jackets
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the West Morgan Rebels had no problem doing just that on Friday. Everything went their way against Corner as West Morgan made off with a 35-14 win. The win was just business as usual for West Morgan, who after 12 games remain undefeated this season.
West Morgan got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Braxton Peters out in front who threw for 277 yards and three touchdowns on only 19 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Ti'Airrius Mosley was another key contributor, picking up 167 receiving yards and a touchdown.
West Morgan's win bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Corner, their loss dropped their record down to 10-2.
West Morgan will face off against Cherokee County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cherokee County is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Corner does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
