Basketball Recap: Tippecanoe Valley Takes a Loss

Tippecanoe Valley played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 70-25 defeat at the hands of the Warsaw Tigers. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

It was another big night for Brooke Winchester, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 15 boards for Warsaw. Winchester is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Zartman, who went 5 for 7 on her way to 14 points and three steals.

Tippecanoe Valley now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Warsaw, they pushed their record up to 19-1 with the win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.

Tippecanoe Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 45-38 victory against Kokomo on the 25th. As for Warsaw, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 79-27 win against Concord on the 25th.
