Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Summertown

Summertown waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Camden Central Lions 11-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2015.

The team relied heavily on Cecil Williams, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. He has become a key player for Summertown: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-3 otherwise. Jon-Kolbi Stanley also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Summertown now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Camden Central, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
