Soccer Game Preview: American Heritage vs. American Heritage

The American Heritage Stallions will head out to face off against the American Heritage Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Stallions' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, the Stallions turned things around against the Eagles on Tuesday. They and the Eagles finished up their match with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Stallions' first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, the Patriots made sure to put some goals up on the board against the Bulls on Friday. They blew past the Bulls 8-0. VICTORIA BURNS was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

The victory (which was the Patriots' third in a row) raised their record to 10-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three contests. With that draw, the Stallions' record moves to 4-6-1.

The Stallions beat the Patriots 2-0 when the teams last played back in January of 2022. Do the Stallions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Patriots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
