Soccer Recap: Rincon/University Takes a Loss

If Rincon/University was feeling good fresh off their 5-1 takedown of Marana last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rincon/University Rangers fell just short of the Tucson High Magnet School Badgers by a score of 4-3 on Monday. The Rangers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Badgers earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Rincon/University dropped their record down to 7-9-2 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Tucson High Magnet School, their record now sits at 3-9-2.

Rincon/University will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Sunnyside at 6:00 p.m. As for Tucson High Magnet School, they will face off against Marana at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Tucson High Magnet School is facing Marana at the right time seeing as Marana is stuck on a 16-game losing streak.
