After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Walton, Etowah was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the North Cobb Warriors 2-1.

Etowah's win bumped their record up to 3-8-1. As for North Cobb, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Etowah will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Forsyth Central at 5:30 p.m. on April 8. As for North Cobb, they will square off against Roswell at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Roswell will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something North Cobb surely won't give up without a fight.
