Basketball Recap: Caseville Comes Up Short

Caseville lost a heartbreaker to Carsonville-Port Sanilac when they met back in February of 2024, and they left with a heavy heart again on Thursday. The Caseville Eagles fell 54-44 to the Carsonville-Port Sanilac Tigers. The Eagles have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Caseville's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Carsonville-Port Sanilac, they pushed their record up to 6-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Caseville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 56-53 defeat against Akron-Fairgrove on the 21st. As for Carsonville-Port Sanilac, they will welcome Caseville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
