Volleyball Game Preview: Leesville Road Pride vs. Wakefield Wolverines + How To Watch

The Leesville Road Pride will face off against the Wakefield Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Broughton came into Tuesday's match looking for another win against Leesville Road, but Hayden Perry wouldn't allow it. The Pride blew past the Capitals 3-0 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Perry, who had 11 digs. She has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Leesville Road's got stronger as the match went on, holding Broughton to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Wakefield was able to grind out a solid win over Athens Drive on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolverines.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-10, 25-27, 25-23.

Leesville Road's victory bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Wakefield, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.

Everything went Leesville Road's way against Wakefield when the teams last played back in September, as Leesville Road made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Pride have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolverines turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
