After failing to score in their last match, Mira Costa made sure to put some goals up on the board against Bishop Montgomery on Friday. They put the hurt on the Bishop Montgomery Knights with a sharp 7-1 victory. Considering the Mustangs have won four games by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Bishop Montgomery from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Sinan Pepemehmetoglu led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Mira Costa's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Bishop Montgomery, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Corona the next time they take the pitch. Bishop Montgomery will head out to face Corona at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Mira Costa will head out to face them at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
