Softball Recap: Frenchtown Beats Polson for Their Fourth Straight Win

Frenchtown had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the Polson Pirates. This was payback for the Broncs, who suffered a 7-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

Frenchtown pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Polson, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frenchtown will take on Butte Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Polson, they will square off against Glacier at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
