Arrowhead Christian and Beckman squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Arrowhead Christian had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 5-4. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Bobby Mahoney was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits.

At the plate, Arrowhead Christian saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Diesel Toth, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Arrowhead Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 19-12. As for Beckman, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-13.
