Football Recap: Coleman Skates Past Holton with Ease + How To Watch

After losing to Holton the last time they met, Coleman decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Comets claimed a resounding 55-22 victory over the Red Devils. The Comets pushed the score to 48-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Red Devils cut but never quite recovered from.

Leading Coleman to victory were Logan Glazier and Dominic Lawrence. Glazier threw for 198 yards and five TDs, while Lawrence gained 151 total yards and two touchdowns. Those five passing touchdowns gave Glazier a new career-high. Parker Klopf was Glazier's top target, picking up 35 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Coleman didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Glazier, Lawrence, and Kendon Bock picked up one apiece.

The win got Coleman back to even at 1-1. As for Holton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coleman is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Merrill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will give the Comets their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Holton, they are taking a road trip to challenge Martin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
