The BVCHEA HomeSchool Mustangs will square off against San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

BVCHEA HomeSchool is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They claimed a resounding 56-0 victory over Coastal Christian HomeSchool. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Charlie Pote was his usual excellent self, rushing for 153 yards and five scores on only five carries. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last 20 games he's played dating back to last season.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for BVCHEA HomeSchool, adding 18 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Pote, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool got the win against New Braunfels Thunder on Saturday by a conclusive 43-21.

San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool now has a winning record of 5-4. As for BVCHEA HomeSchool, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.

Everything came up roses for BVCHEA HomeSchool against San Antonio Patriots HomeSchool in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 43-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
