Baseball Recap: Bell Creek Academy Takes a Loss

Bell Creek Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pinellas Park Patriots. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 11-0 to the Patriots when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bell Creek Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tate Anich, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Bell Creek Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14-1. As for Pinellas Park, their record is now 10-13-1.

Looking ahead, Bell Creek Academy will be playing at home against Real Life Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Raptors have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. As for Pinellas Park, they have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Osceola on the 9th.
