After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central Woodstock, Clarke County was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Madison County Mountaineers an 11-0 shutout. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by 11 runs or more this season.

Clarke County now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Madison County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-17.

Coming up, Clarke County will head out on the road to challenge Page County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. Madison County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
