Volleyball Recap: Pickerington Central Takes a Loss

Pickerington Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the New Albany Eagles, falling 3-0. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Pickerington Central was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made New Albany work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 27-25, 25-17.

Pickerington Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for New Albany, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-3 record.

Pickerington Central has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Pickerington North on the 3rd. As for New Albany, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Reynoldsburg on the 3rd.
