Basketball Recap: Poteet Comes Up Short

Poteet lost against Uvalde back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Poteet Aggies took a 57-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls).

Poteet's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Uvalde, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Poteet will take on Comfort in a tournament on Thursday. As for Uvalde, they will be taking part in a tournament against Thrall at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
