Football Recap: Kennedy Victorious + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pomona, Kennedy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with an 8-0 win over the Bennett Tigers. For the Commanders, this counts as revenge for the 42-16 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Kennedy found their leader in sophomore Xavier Benavidez, who made 18 total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defended one pass.

Kennedy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Bennett, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kennedy will face off against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bennett, they will welcome Lamar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
