Soccer Recap: Kewanee Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Kewanee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 7-0 to the Sterling Golden Warriors. Kewanee were not able to make up for their defeat to Sterling from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Kewanee's loss dropped their record down to 2-8-2. As for Sterling, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Looking ahead, Kewanee will welcome Illinois Valley Central at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Illinois Valley Central's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Sterling, they will challenge East Moline United at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
