Basketball Game Preview: Northeast Guilford Rams vs. Dudley Panthers

Northeast Guilford is 2-8 against Dudley since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Rams will challenge the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Northeast Guilford is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Grimsley on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Rams were beaten by the Whirlies 75-13. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-9.

Meanwhile, Dudley lost 59-35 to South Garner on Saturday.

Northeast Guilford's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Dudley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Northeast Guilford suffered a grim 57-32 defeat to Dudley when the teams last played back in February. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Rams were down 40-10.
