Basketball Recap: Paden Piles Up the Points Against New Lima

While Paden didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 63-17 win over the New Lima Falcons. The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 35 points or more this season.

Paden is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.4 points per game. As for New Lima, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-6.

Paden will venture away from home to challenge Mason at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for New Lima, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the New Lima Falcons duke it out with the Life Christian Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Life Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something New Lima surely won't give up without a fight.
