Furlow Charter School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 31st straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 69-45 to Webster County. One positive for the Falcons, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Furlow Charter School's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braylon Smothers, who went 10 of 14 on his way to 26 points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave Smothers a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Thompkins, who posted nine points and six steals.

Furlow Charter School's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Webster County, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6.

Furlow Charter School will welcome Taylor County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Taylor County will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Furlow Charter School surely won't give up without a fight. As for Webster County, they will venture away from home to take on Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 70 points per game this season.
