Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Haslett). Everything went their way against the Fowlerville Gladiators on Thursday as the Haslett Vikings made off with a 69-49 win. While the Vikings didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The victory made it two in a row for Haslett and bumps their season record up to 6-1. As for Fowlerville, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Haslett and Mattawan will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Haslett has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 188 points over their last three games. As for Fowlerville, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pinckney at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
