Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Ayla Monson and Brenna Dimler Lead Clear Lake to Victory

Clear Lake posted their closest win since September 26, 2024 on Friday. They skirted past the Elmwood/Plum City Wolves 2-1. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Wolves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2022.

Clear Lake was led to victory by Brenna Dimler and Ayla Monson. Dimler had ten digs and four aces, while Monson had 17 assists.

They weren't the only good server: Clear Lake was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

The win got Clear Lake back to even at 2-2. As for Elmwood/Plum City, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Clear Lake has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Merrill on the 30th. Elmwood/Plum City has also already played their next game (against Clayton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
