Baseball Game Preview: Steilacoom Sentinels vs. Eatonville Cruisers

For the second straight game, Steilacoom will face off against Eatonville. The Sentinels will be playing at home against the Cruisers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Steilacoom's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Eatonville has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

On Tuesday, Steilacoom didn't have quite enough to beat Eatonville and fell 7-6.

For Eatonville's part, Aaron Tozier was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. That's the most stolen bases Tozier has posted since back in March of 2024. Ben Smith was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

The win snapped Eatonville's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-6 record. As for Steilacoom, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.
