Soccer Game Preview: Franklin vs. Pisgah

The Franklin Panthers will challenge the Pisgah Bears at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Franklin's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Franklin's offense. They lost 5-0 to Rabun Gap-Nacoochee on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Franklin can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 266th in North Carolina, while Rabun Gap-Nacoochee are ranked sixth in Georgia).

Pisgah had taken North Henderson down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Wednesday. The Bears fell 3-1 to the Knights.

Pisgah's loss dropped their record down to 7-6-3. As for Franklin, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11-2.
