Baseball Recap: Overland Takes a Loss

Overland lost against Rangeview back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Overland lost 13-3 to Rangeview. The Trailblazers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Overland saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ruben Luna, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one double. That double marked the first that Luna hit this season. Brayan Ascensio was another, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 1-for-2.

Overland's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Rangeview, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Overland didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-1 loss against Lincoln on the 21st. As for Rangeview, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-1 victory against Thornton on the 22nd.
