Baseball Game Preview: Dimmitt Bobcats vs. Muleshoe Mules

The Dimmitt Bobcats are taking a road trip to take on the Muleshoe Mules at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

It was a proper cat-fight when Dimmitt took on Idalou on Friday. The Bobcats took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Rudy Fuentes made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. He has become a key player for Dimmitt: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 7-9 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Diego Villareal, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Muleshoe didn't have quite enough to beat Slaton on Saturday and fell 5-3. The Mules have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dimmitt's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Muleshoe, they now have a losing record of 10-11.
