Basketball Recap: Marysville Takes a Loss

After flying high against Wamego on Thursday, Marysville came back down to earth. The Marysville Bulldogs took a hard 58-39 fall against the Abilene Cowboys on Friday. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cowboys earlier this season, when they won 65-60.

Marysville now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Abilene, they pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.

Marysville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Abilene, they will welcome Concordia on Monday.
