Dothan took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They strolled past the Opelika Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 56-39. This was payback for the Wolves, who suffered a 62-56 loss the last time these two teams met.

Opelika's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaleb Baker, who posted 14 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brady McNally, who earned ten points.

Opelika's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Dothan will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against LeFlore at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Opelika, they will face off against Benjamin Russell at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
