Webster County proved they can win big on Monday (they won by 11) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Trinity Raiders 10-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Trojans have posted since March 22nd.

Jackson Edens was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jameson Newton, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

The win got Webster County back to even at 12-12. As for Trinity, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-15.

Looking ahead, Webster County will be playing at home against Hancock County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Trinity, they are taking a road trip to face off against Caverna at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
