Soccer Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Lewis County's Sixth in Last Eight Outings

After failing to score in their last match, Lewis County made sure to put some goals up on the board against PikeView on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Panthers. It was an even better day for Erin Flanigan as she scored three goals for her team.

Lewis County is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 32 goals over those eight games. As for PikeView, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lewis County will face off against Keyser at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for PikeView, they will take on Shady Spring at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. PikeView are facing Shady Spring at the right time seeing as Shady Spring are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
