Basketball Recap: Cumberland Takes a Loss

Cumberland and Rogers squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Cumberland had to settle for second. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 43-34 to the Rogers Vikings, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The loss continues a trend for the Clippers in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now lost four in a row.

Cumberland's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Rogers, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-9 record this season.

Cumberland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rogers, they will challenge Scituate at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Scituate comes in on eight and Rogers on six.
