The biggest upset of the week belonged to Wallington, who defeated 304th ranked Emerson, 23-9. Ryan Adzima threw for 215 yards and 3 touchdowns during the win.
Adzima and Dan Severino provided fans with a highlight when they connected against the Cavaliers. The connection was good for 75 yards, the longest such play in North Jersey - Patriot this season.
He went 16-38 with 1 interception.
Severino was the best receiver in the league this week as the Panthers defeated Emerson. Severino tallied 5 receptions for 95 yards. Brian Kowalczyk helped Wallington's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 52 yards.
Wallington's Adzima and Kowalczyk led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Adzima has thrown for 842 yards this season, while Kowalczyk, a 6-foot-4 receiver, has 25 catches for 348 yards. Bogota's Austin Urbaez leads the league in rushing yards with 306.
The Buccaneers are currently in second, while Weehawken is in third.
Bogota's Urbaez recorded the longest rushing play in North Jersey - Patriot this season in his game against Park Ridge last week. Urbaez scampered for 59 yards on the play and finished with 139 on the day as his team beat the Owls.
