Football Recap: Palmetto Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Palmetto Christian Academy faced King's Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Palmetto Christian Academy was beaten by King's Academy 40-10. Palmetto Christian Academy just can't catch a break and has now endured four losses in a row.

Palmetto Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eli Beville, who rushed for 150 yards. Beville showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 52 yards.

Palmetto Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for King's Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
