St. Mary's Prep is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top against North Farmington by a score of 3-1.

In the three sets St. Mary's Prep was on fire: they won each by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-12, 23-25, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Mercy made easy work of Stevenson on Friday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Marlins in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won seven in a row.

Mercy's win bumped their record up to 38-5-3. As for St. Mary's Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 34-6-4.

St. Mary's Prep couldn't quite get it done against Mercy in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Eaglets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
