Lumen Christi Catholic got themselves on the board against Marian on Wednesday, but Marian never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 7-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Bree Okoniewski, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.

The win made it two in a row for Lumen Christi Catholic and bumps their season record up to 15-7. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Marian, they now have a losing record of 7-8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lumen Christi Catholic will welcome Michigan Center at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Titans will need to watch out since the Cardinals have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. As for Marian, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Bishop Foley at 4:00 p.m.
