Estacado and Levelland are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. The Matadors are taking a road trip to take on the Lobos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Estacado beat Big Spring 8-3. That's two games straight that the Matadors have won by exactly five runs.

Meanwhile, Levelland entered their tilt with Lake View on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They skirted past the Chiefs/Maidens 4-2.

Levelland's victory bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Estacado, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-14-1.

Estacado suffered a grim 17-8 defeat to Levelland in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Matadors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
