Soccer Game Preview: Lighthouse Christian Academy vs. Shoals

Lighthouse Christian Academy is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Edgewood on Monday. The Lions took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Shoals, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Bloomfield on Wednesday as they made off with an 8-3 victory. Kyle Wininger was a massive factor in the win as he booted in four goals all by himself.

Shoals' lineup was just a bit different on Wednesday as Brody Crouse got a bit more time on the pitch (80 vs. his season average of 51.2). Crouse made the most of the opportunity, scoring a goal and three assists A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.

Lighthouse Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-5-2. As for Shoals, their win ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10.
