Volleyball Recap: Sheets Memorial Christian Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Friday. Sheets Memorial Christian fell 3-1 to Heritage Christian.

Wells Everhart paced Sheets Memorial Christian's offense, picking up eight kills. Everhart got some help from Lauren Hanner and her 25 assists. Taylor WIlliamson and Taylor McNeill kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Sheets Memorial Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Heritage Christian, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-4.

Looking ahead, Sheets Memorial Christian will head out to face off against Oak Level Baptist Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Heritage Christian has already played their next match (against Cornerstone Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
