Basketball Recap: Freedom Comes Up Short

Freedom lost to Liberty back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons took a hard 62-43 fall against the Lions. The matchup marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Freedom's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Liberty, they pushed their record up to 18-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Freedom and Liberty should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Falcons will challenge Pittsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (162 vs. 371). Meanwhile, Liberty (ranked 63rd) will meet Heritage (ranked 231st) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
