Volleyball Recap: Caliche Falls Short of Flatirons Academy in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Caliche can now relate to. They fell just short of the Flatirons Academy Bison by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The Buffaloes have struggled against the Bison recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Caliche actually scored more points across those five sets (107-105), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 25-22, 26-28, 25-22, 15-10.

Tessa Miller went supernova For Flatirons Academy., getting 23 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Miller has posted since back in October.

Caliche's defeat dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Flatirons Academy, they pushed their record up to 24-3 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home.

Caliche does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Flatirons Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against McClave on the 15th.
