Volleyball Recap: Space Coast Comes Up Short

Space Coast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Moore Haven Terriers.

Despite the loss, Space Coast still got an impressive performance from Haley Cowling, who had 19 digs and two aces. Cowling is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season.

Space Coast's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Moore Haven, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Space Coast wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Manatee on the 4th. As for Moore Haven, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Rockledge on the 4th.
