Basketball Recap: Tarkio Comes Up Short

Tarkio lost against North Platte back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tarkio Indians had to suffer through a 72-43 loss at the hands of the North Platte Panthers. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tarkio's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for North Platte, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tarkio is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Union Star at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tarkio is facing Union Star at the right time seeing as Union Star is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for North Platte, they will face off against Mid-Buchanan at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
