Grangeville got themselves on the board against Priest River on Thursday, but Priest River never followed suit. They blew past the Spartans 18-0. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Grangeville got a great performance from Tate Thacker as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on JT Jackson, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Thayn Williams was another key player, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Grangeville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .622. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Priest River only posted an OBP of .222.

Grangeville's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-9. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Priest River, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.
