After a string of three wins, Ludington's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Greenville Yellow Jackets by a score of 2-1.

Ludington's loss dropped their record down to 18-13-3. As for Greenville, the win snapped their losing streak at seven matches and leaves them with a 12-7 record.

Ludington and Greenville should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Orioles (ranked 195th) will meet Montague (ranked 419th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Greenville will square off against Kenowa Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (176 vs. 394).
